Leadership I & II

These classes define the role of leaders. It broadens the perspective of how to lead and not lord. It also allows others to see that leading is a divine privilege and responsibility used to influence the lives of those who are called to the Kingdom of God and although there are various levels of leadership we are all called to influence someone; therefore, we are all leading in some state of capacity.

Vision Management

Here is where the rubber meets the road, because without vision people run amuck! This class attempts to show the believer how personal vision is to interact and coincide with the divine vision given to a Church and its leader. We are all called to perform a wonderful work in the Kingdom, however, God is not the author of confusion; so if your vision is bringing confusion in your life and the Church, it’s time to revisit that vision.

Christian Ethics

Here, we attempt to deal with the core issues of living a godly life as a Christian and a leader. A leader needs to know where to draw the line when it comes to walking in a moral way, which pleasing to God and candid before people. In other words, our lives should be a living testimony of integrity and ethical prudence.

Preparation for Ministry 1,2 & 3

These classes unfold in three sessions the spiritual tools, the proper attitude and the moral competence needed in order to survive in ministry today. These classes bellow the point that God wants more than people working in ministry, God really wants you!

Intro to Discipleship

This is an exciting class. It stresses the fact that we are called into God’s adoring Kingdom to “make disciples of men”. Here, the student will learn what exactly that means through a series of hands on exercises’, discussions and a practical format that will make the student capable of discipling for a lifetime.

Community Outreach

In order to reach lives in a community there must be an exuded level of compassion for that community as well as for people. Here is where a leader can be most effective in spreading the Gospel message and that is through learning to find various ways to touch the lives of those living in the very community where we live or worship.

Leading by the Holy Spirit

A powerful class! The student is taught to lead or rather walk in the divine favor given them by the Holy Spirit. Being lead by the Spirit is the way we are suppose to walk, therefore declining any advancement for the flesh!

Spiritual Gifts and Leadership

The student learns how God’s divine call and the student’s response ignites the spiritual gifts bestowed upon every believer. These gifts are given in order to equip the believer for their divine call and now they will learn to understand the essential quality, purpose and use of these gifts.

The Essentials and Necessity of Worship

Worship seems to be coming a lost essential in today’s church. Many go through the motions of worship but they are not truly focused on inviting the King of Glory into their midst. This class focuses on why this necessary element of the faith is to never be neglected and should always to the essential part of the Church service.

Disciplines of Prayer

Prayer has several disciplines which are needed and pertinent toward a lifetime of communicating with God. Here the student learns what are those disciplines and how to apply them in their intimate time alone with God.

Intro to Apologetics

We take a look at the “Case for Faith” and see why we believe what we believe and how to live this life according to that belief.

Media Cultural Crises

This class simply opens a leaders eyes to the effects of the media culture and how it is shaping the thought process of many of it’s wayward believers. It shows him how to combat the new wave of media spin and hopefully through the truth of the Gospel, restore a people to a real hunger for God and His righteousness.

The Essentials of Small Groups

Whether you believe it or not, small groups are essential in the overall maintenance and welfare of the Church. This class shows the student why they should embrace the small group concept.

Conflict Management

Let’s face it, where there’s people there’s problems. This class teaches students how to resist the temptation of disagreements and learn to resolve matters according to the scripture.

Intro to Christian Counseling

This class is not to gain a doctorate into psychology but rather to show leaders how to provide wise and needed counsel to people according to the Word with the understanding of practical measures needed for this day and age. Every answer is not simply scripture driven, however, with the guidance of the Holy Spirit every answer can be godly driven.
